Body Features
The Great whites body is white at the bottom and can be different shades of grey at the topGreat White sharks have two pectoral fins, a first and second dorsal fin, a caudal fin anal fin and pelvic fin. They have rows of up to 300 teeth which are constantly replaced, great whites can lose up to 1000 teeth over their lifespan, and they are able to roll their eyes to the inside to protect them when they are hunting. Their snouts are highly sensible and there have been reports of people fighting off Great whites by hitting their snouts. Great white sharks have very advanced senses, they are able to smell blood from long distances, their eyesight is exceptional both in and out of the water and they have an organ that enables them to sense electrical signals. Great whites can pick up the electrical signal of another fish's heartbeat if it is close enough.
